Elizabeth Wheaton & Jenny Kramer - Owners of Wheaton Whaley Home

Elizabeth Wheaton & Jenny Kramer

Elizabeth and Jenny became friends in 2014 partially due to their shared interest and skill in the home decor field. Elizabeth launched her pillow company in 2015, while Jenny launched her Design and Decor business later the same year. They have spent years going to High Point market together, collaborating on design projects, and spitballing business strategies. Over the years Elizabeth’s pillow business grew at an astonishing rate, while Jenny worked full time practicing Interior Design while also running a decor & drapery company.

Finally, in 2022, thanks to the encouragement of friends and family, the two entrepreneurs decided to merge their two businesses and skillsets.  As a team they were able to increase scale and expand their offerings. They kept the recognizable “Wheaton Whaley” name and together launched the collaborative “Wheaton Whaley Home” in January 2023. Together, they are thrilled to bring joy to their clients' homes.

Heather Hand - Wheaton Whaley Home

Inventory & Production Specialist

Heather Hand

Heather was born and raised in Greenville. She's a wife, & mother to two great kids: Hannah 19 & Joey 16. She has a degree in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing & has loved design from a very young age. She describes her style as "classic with a twist" & loves making a house feel like home. She feels like God answered her prayers when her "just for 6 week job" turned into almost two years. When she's not at work, you can find her with my family at the lake, baseball field or cheering on the Clemson Tigers.

Alexa Haynes - Wheaton Whaley Home

Studio Assistant

Alexa Haynes

To say Alexa has been around since the start is the truest statement (she's Elizabeth's sister). She started sewing in college when the business started really taking off. She now serves as an integral part of the daily operation of the WWH team. If you're local, you might see her at one of our retail partner shops: The Rock House Antiques & Cottage Grove Vintage Market. She also still sews all of our knife edge pillows and is our resident expert on all things Gen Z. She is the mama to one puppy dog, Mystic and loves cheering on the Clemson Tigers!

Kathryn Haynes

Seamstress

Kathryn Haynes

Kathryn grew up watching her aunts & grandmother, Ruth Whaley, sew. Before she was a teen, she started practicing the art. Fast forward about 30 years when her 12 year old was adamant about making her Easter dress, and shall we say "the rest is history". Kathryn graduated from Winthrop University with a Business Management degree and currently is the Branch Office Administrator for a prominent financial investment firm. Kathryn does all of our knife edge serging, and is also the best Mimi around!

Carter was born and raised in Greenville, and has spent the majority of her career working at Upstate non-profit organizations including the South Carolina Children’s Theatre, Cancer Survivors Park, Greenville Women Giving, and the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.
